Williams on Christian Horror as the ultimate conversation piece??? again with the puppets!

In a guest post on Awkward Christianity, author N. Paul Williams writes that Christian Horror is the ultimate conversation piece. This is actually an old article, but it just came to my attention the other day. He doesn’t go deeply into apologetics for Christian horror, doesn’t spend much time on theological justification of the genre, and goes pretty light on why he writes. His closing, though, rings true:

I know what it???s like to be lost in the shadows… [to] find oneself so turned around in the dark that no amount of platitudes could help… I write Christian Horror because sometimes calling people out of the darkness means going in after them. After all, isn???t that what Christ did for us?
The other thing that caught my attention, given the recent post about [zombie puppets][], is the description of Wilson’s novel *Ripper Grimm* as a story about a vampire puppet.
